These days, Robert Pattinson is making headlines for inadvertently inspiring Christopher Nolan into making Oppenheimer after gifting his Tenet director a book of speeches’ of J. Robert Oppenheimer during the war.
However, pushing the Oppenheimer project or starring in Tenet isn’t Pattinson’s most famous – for both good and bad reasons – contribution to Hollywood.

Instead, the English actor’s most prominent work is the Twilight Saga, as the franchise and its cast made noise for more than one reason.
How Kristen Stewart Ruined Marriage Plans With Robert Pattinson
The five-part film series follows the fantasy romance between Bella Swan, a human, and Edward Cullen, a vampire distributed across five parts: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn – Part One, and Break Dawn Part Two.
Robert Pattison and Kristen Stewart garnered mixed reactions for their portrayal of Edward and Bella respectively. However, in terms of popularity, the series as well as the cast did impressively well. And the cameras also followed what happened behind the scenes in the star duo’s life, who were also in an on- and off- relationship.
Before Twilight Saga: Break Down – Part Two, which was released in 2012, Stewart, in her early 20s at the time, found herself under scrutiny for cheating on Pattinson with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.
The news left fans stunned and more importantly the very likable vampire heartbroken. This also ruined the marriage plans of the couple, with Pattinson understood to be just a week away from proposing to her at the time. After the development, she left their LA home and moved back with her parents.
Even her parents didn’t take Kristen’s exploits too well, with a source telling Us Weekly: “Her parents feel Kristen has really embarrassed herself and don’t blame Rob for not calling her back. This is not the Kristen they know.”
However, the two rekindled their romance during the filming of the final Twilight Saga installment before walking their separate ways in 2013 for good.
Why Robert Pattinson Didn’t Get a Role in Oppenheimer
Since then Pattinson has taken major strides both in his personal and professional career. He’s currently in a five-year-long relationship with actress Suki Waterhouse. In terms of movies, he’s bagged brilliant roles like Batman in The Batman and Neil in Tenet.
Still, despite influencing his Tenet director Nolan to make Oppenheimer, the 37-year-old didn’t get any part in the movie, which is currently flying in theaters. The Dark Knight director recently admitted Pattinson wasn’t involved in his documentary feature because the actor was busy and is currently in a lot of demand.
The Englishman is set to feature in the comedy movie Average Height, Average Build alongside Oppenheimer’s Lewis Strauss: Robert Downey Jr.
