In the trailer, Jane Foster is seen summoning a lightning bolt in a hall that has statues. These statues are dedicated to Death, Infinity, a statue that looks somewhat like Thanos,  Uatu the Watch, and the Living Tribunal. In Marvel, he is one of the strongest cosmic gods. He is the personification of multiversal law and has the highest authority in the multiverse. The cosmic being maintains the balance in the multiverse and has existed from the beginning of the universes. He also acts to prevent one universe to become more powerful than the others.

So, he is One Above All, who works to protect and maintain balance in the multiverse as a whole. The Living Tribunal has three faces that are the representation of his three sides. The front face represents equity, the hooded face on the right represents necessity, and the half-hooded face on the left represents just revenge. The Tribunal can act only when all three voices agree.
