Charlie Sheen Reflects On His Acting Career
Charlie Sheen is one of the many talented stars who has done multi-genre films in Hollywood. The actor is best known for his role, Charlie Harper, in the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men. Sheen was a superstar in the late ’90s, but his problems with drug addiction and alcohol tainted his reputation.

In a sit-down interview, Charlie Sheen discussed his experience working in the entertainment industry and went deep into his famous firing from Two and a Half Men.

“People have said to me, ‘Hey, man, that was so cool, that was so fun to watch. That was so cool to be a part of and support and all that energy, and you know, we stuck it to the man. My thought behind that is, ‘Oh, yeah, great. I’m so glad I traded early retirement for a f**king hashtag.”
Charlie Sheen continued,
“There were 55 other ways to handle that situation, and I chose number 56. And so, you know, I think the growth for me post-meltdown or melt forward or melt somewhere — however you want to label it — it has to start with absolute ownership of my role in all of it,” he said. “And it was desperately juvenile.”
In a previous interview with ABC, Sheen opened up about his drug addiction. He said,
“I was bangin’ seven-gram rocks and finishing them because that’s how I roll because I have one speed, one gear…I’m different. I have a different constitution. I have a different brain, and I have a different heart. I got tiger blood, man. Dying’s for fools, dying’s for amateurs.”
The Platoon movie star continued,
“I am on a drug. It’s called Charlie Sheen. If you try it once, you will die. Your face will melt off, and your children will weep over your exploded body.”
