Zack Snyder’s fans were way too excited about his dream project Rebel Moon. The cinematic sensation is competing for the top spot with Ethan Hawke’s suspense drama Leave The World Behind in terms of viewership on one of the leading streaming platforms.
Despite a great marketing strategy, Zack Snyder’s intergalactic saga managed to secure 23.9 million views within the first four days of its release on Netflix. The release coincided with the festive season which generated more views but failed to surpass the viewership of Ethan Hawke’s November release Leave The World Behind.

Rebel Moon-Part 1 hasn’t yet hit a month’s duration on Netflix, and the volatility of the viewership cannot confirm its hit-or-miss factor.
Sofia Boutella On Working With Zack Snyder In Rebel Moon
Sofia Boutella played the protagonist Kora in Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon. During an interview with the reputed media outlet ScreenRant, the Algerian-French actor spoke about her experience working with one of the most brilliant filmmakers in Hollywood, Zack Snyder. She said-
“He genuinely cares so much. When you care like this from your heart, it shows. The audience knows it. And you know what? It’s real. It really is. He comes from such a place of enthusiasm that he communicates. He has such a team around him that has been loyal and faithful to him for such a long time. He installs such a positive and constructive harmony on set. That is honestly remarkable, especially considering the size of what we worked on.”

She further shared-
“It’s not like you arrive, and it’s just a few people working. The scale of it. To be able to orchestrate something like that and to create such a healthy environment takes a lot of practice, I think. But I think when you come from your heart, it’s also easy. So it’s an interesting thing because it’s not that easy to maintain that. I don’t know. He’s really, genuinely special.”
The actor was impressed with Zack Snyder’s collaborative spirit and his eye for detail.
