Vin Diesel’s Co-star Might Not Return For Future Fast and Furious Spin Offs Leaving Millions of Dollars Behind
The fans of the Fast and Furious franchise once believed that the franchise was about to end. But with the release of the latest movie and many in-development spinoffs, it’s quite clear that now, the franchise is stronger than before.
Apart from the newly announced Dwayne Johnson starring spinoff, fans are also expecting to see a Fast and Furious film that’s female-led. However, as indicated by Vin Diesel’s co-stars, it seems like one of the founding members of the franchise might not be a part of it.

Vin Diesel’s Co-star Might Not Be In Fast and Furious Spin-Off
It’s been years since fans heard about the plans for making a women-focused Fast and Furious spinoff. Not much movement has been seen, though, in the direction. During the run-up to the Fast X, Vin Diesel confirmed the in-development movie.
However, the chances of Michelle Rodriguez starring in that movie are not all that good as she indicated to Variety previously that she is ready for the new generation to take the lead. The Fast and Furious star said,
“You pass the baton on. You take the back seat. You go passenger side. When it comes to the next generation, you have to. It’s the only way to let them define the future.”

Even though the statement shows that it’s unlikely to see her face in the women-led story, her statement doesn’t necessarily state her disconnect with the franchise. She can be saying it because she isn’t looking forward to being at the forefront of the movie. There can be a spinoff with Letty, but she is not the sole focus.

It remains doubtful if the highest-earning female star of the franchise, who earned $5 million for her role in Fast and Furious 6, $10 million for Fast and Furious 8, $2.5 million for Fast and Furious 9, and $5 million for Fast X, will be a part of the upcoming movies of the spinoffs ahead.
Fast and Furious Spinoff Starring Dwayne Johnson is Confirmed
Actresses such as Jordana Brewster, Charlize Theron, and Gal Gadot, who previously appeared in the franchise, can reappear in the roles for the spinoff. As the project isn’t happening until the main storyline comes to an end, there’s a possibility to see new female characters join the fold before it can begin.
Either way, fans will get one more Fast and Furious movie starring Dwayne Johnson. It’s being said to be a spinoff. It would build the bridge between the Fast X and Fast X: Part 2, the Fast 11. It’s also quite likely that Jason Momoa will appear as Dante. Apart from that, it’s unclear who else will be in the movie.
Rodriguez plays a key role in the success of the movies just like any other character, and she would be missed if she decides to part ways. As for her fans, they can just respect her decision and say goodbye to the character if this is what the actress wants.
The latest movie in the Fast and Furious franchise is now available on Peacock, allowing one to catch up with the franchise.
