“We didn’t do anything wrong, I don’t feel any shame”: Prince Harry’s 50-Year-Old Ex-girlfriend Catherine Ommanney is Not Ashamed About Hooking up With Harry Despite the Age Difference
After learning that Prince Harry was writing about his ex-girlfriends in his new biography Spare, reality TV star Catherine Ommanney reportedly spoke out about their one-month-short relationship. According to his alleged ex-lover, she bet the Duke of Sussex would not mention her in his upcoming memoir.
While appearing on the Real Housewives of D.C., the mother-of-three went on a string of dates with the young Royal despite the 13-year age difference between them. After releasing a statement about her 2006 short romance in an interview with the Duke of Sussex, his 50-year-old alleged ex-girlfriend was subjected to a barrage of snarky comments online. In an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun, the British interior designer said she does not feel shame over the one-month relationship.
Trolls Over Catherine Ommanney’s Fling With Prince Harry Don’t Bother Her
According to The Sun, Catherine Ommanney, 50, had a fling with Prince Harry in 2006, and she described the relationship as a passionate tryst to the outlet earlier. She told the outlet that he gave her the “most intense kiss” she had ever experienced. The actress said that when the kiss took place, she was 34 years old and had two children, and Prince Harry was only 21 years old at the time.
People started trolling her after that interview because she had an affair with a person who was 13 years younger than her and for the statements that she had given about Prince Harry and their short romance.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Ommanney hit back to the trollers and said she doesn’t feel any shame over their one-month relationship.
Ommanney said:
“I genuinely don’t care what people say about me. I’ve got haters and lovers all over the world. I don’t feel any shame, life is too short. Let your haters be your motivators, as they say.”
“I have enough people who love me, and I consider myself very fortunate to have met Harry and have spent time with him. We didn’t do anything wrong.”
Catherine Ommanney allegedly revealed that she and Harry went on a series of dates when he was just 21. According to Ommanney, he was reportedly also dating Zimbabwe-born socialite Chelsy Davy. The Real Housewives of D.C. star also revealed that the Duke of the Sussex always dreamed of not being a royal and living a ‘normal life,’ which he has since worked towards with his wife Meghan Markle in 2020.
Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Will Take The Lead Of Archewell
It is anticipated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will take full control of their Archewell Foundation following the resignation after 18 months of the organization’s president, Mandana Dayani. Her exit has been described as an amicable and planned transition. Dayani was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the media and charity group. According to their spokesman, founders Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had long intended to assume complete management of Archewell, so she will not be replaced for the position as Harry and Markle will now take “new leadership roles” at the company.
Their spokesman said,
“Ms Dayani has been an integral part of Archewell and we are grateful for her passion, commitment and leadership.
“Her transition was mutually planned, with intent for the Duke and Duchess to now take full lead of their company. There will be no replacement for this position, and Ms Dayani is fully supportive of the Duke and Duchess in their new leadership roles, and they remain friends.”
As the Sussexes prepare to launch a Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, and to release Prince Harry’s autobiography, their departure comes ahead of a critical period in their lives.
