Sean “Diddy” Combs and Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee are officially over. After having a whirlwind not-so-exclusive romance for a brief period of time, they are finally over each other. But they still continue to share love and appreciation for one another. Diddy and Yung Miami’s relationship has been the subject of much speculation and intrigue among fans of the music industry for some time now. Both are highly successful artists in their own right, with Diddy being a legendary rapper, producer, and entrepreneur, and Yung Miami being a rising star in the hip-hop world as a member of the group City Girls.
The two seemed to enjoy each other’s company very much, and the countless pictures and stories were a testament to it. In 2022 the pair made it official but alas the partnership has now apparently run its course.
Yung Miami confirmed her relationship with Diddy is finally over
The pair, Yung Miami and Diddy have been confusing people on the internet for quite some time now. The two were romantically linked since 2021, which they then later confirmed in 2022. While confirming that they are indeed dating, they also established the fact that they were not exclusive to each other. Although the rappers refused to use any labels, that does not mean the lovebirds treated their relationship casually. The City Girls rapper confirmed they “had our own situation” with Jennifer Lopez’s ex. She then further elaborated,
“We were f–king with each other hard. We were together every day at one point,”
After commenting on the above statement, she handed the responsibility of naming their entanglement to the internet, she said,
“He supported me, I supported him. I’ll let the internet call it whatever they want to call it.”
She also explained their situation previously stating,
“He see other people outside of me, and I see people outside of him,–I’m young. I’m dating. I’m, you know, having fun. I’m doing me. He’s doing the same thing.”
People are speculating Yung Miami dumped the said rapper since he welcome a baby girl recently with another woman. The power couple will continue to remain friends, collaborate and gift their audiences joy in the form of music all while guiding and helping each other along the way.
How did the two rappers meet?
The pair first crossed paths in the music industry. Diddy has been a major player in the industry for decades, while Yung Miami, burst onto the scene in 2018 as a member of the Miami-based group City Girls. Diddy and Yung Miami first worked together in 2019 when City Girls collaborated with his label, Bad Boy Records, for the remix of Act Up. Since then the two have continued to work together on various projects. In 2020, the Bad Boy for Life singer signed City Girls to his label, and he has been actively involved in their career ever since.
The rapper has spoken highly of Yung Miami, calling her “a star” and “the future of hip-hop.” For her part, Yung Miami has also expressed her gratitude for his support. She has called him a mentor and a friend and has credited him with helping her and her group achieve success in the industry. She has also spoken about how much she has learned from him and how much he has inspired her to keep pushing forward.
