The complete trailer for Marvel’s What If…? animated series was released on Friday. The program will transport viewers to other timelines of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in which the storylines of Marvel heroes and villains play out in completely different ways than the canon we are familiar with. The new animated series will debut on Disney+ on August 11, 2021. It is the MCU version of Marvel Comics’ famous anthology series. Several volumes of the What If…? series were published between 1977 and 2018. What If…? will also benefit from having voice work by MCU film stars, including Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman. Before his death previous summer, Boseman had recorded many episodes of What If…?, and seeing him bring King T’Challa back to life is having a significant impact on Marvel fans.
