Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie brought the Chateau Miraval winery in 2008 for an amount of $28.3 million. Pitt had invested a significant amount of time and money into making the vineyard successful. Chateau Miraval is a villa located in Correns, France. The 1,200-acre property has multiple 17th-century buildings and is situated along a well-known Roman road. In addition to the vineyard, Chateau Miraval has a private lake, a moat, olive groves, several fountains, pine woods, expansive slopes, and a Romanesque chapel. The land was first utilized as a winery in the 1850s. Late in the 1970s, Jacques Loussier bought the site and kept making wine there.
Chateau Miraval’s main residence has 35 rooms. With that, the home has a theatre, a dirt bike course, a gym, a video game room, indoor and outdoor pools, a helicopter pad, and a spa. The 47-year-old actress in 2010, moved a 200-year-old olive tree to the chateau’s grounds.
