Chateau Miraval is a villa located in Correns, France. The 1,200-acre property has multiple 17th-century buildings and is situated along a well-known Roman road. In addition to the vineyard, Chateau Miraval has a private lake, a moat, olive groves, several fountains, pine woods, expansive slopes, and a Romanesque chapel. The land was first utilized as a winery in the 1850s. Late in the 1970s, Jacques Loussier bought the site and kept making wine there.

In February 2022, Brad Pitt sued Angelina Jolie, alleging that she had improperly sold her interests in Miraval, a French corporation that owned a castle and vineyard. In 2008, Pitt and Jolie first acquired a majority stake in Miraval.

In March 2013, they started selling their own rosé, and in August 2014, they wed there. The 57-year-old actor claimed that when Jolie requested a divorce in 2016, they both made a pact not to sell their Miraval stock without consent.

However, the Tenute del Mondo wine section of the Stoli group, run by Russian entrepreneur Yuri Shefler, purchased the Girl Interrupted actor’s share in the company in 2021. Following this, the Fight Club actor sued his ex-wife.

The former couple’s winery is once again in headlines as the actor’s latest legal documents state that the Maleficent star secretly sold her share of the estate without Pitt’s consent and went behind his back.
