A few months after his split from Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez dated fitness model Kathryne Padgett for a while, before splitting up. Around September 2022, an insider shared  that, “it just ran its course.” 

Cut to October 2022, Rodriguez was spotted with Canadian fitness instructor, Jaclyn Cordeiro walking down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California. And reports of their dating started running amok. And by December, the reports had been thoroughly confirmed by both sources and the MLB star himself.

Back in December, one of the sources shared how Cordeiro was a perfect match for Rodriguez. The insider claimed,

“She may be as strict about her own regimen as he is. Alex and Jaclyn are both fitness obsessed and into exercise and body building.”

Yet another insider close to Alex Rodriguez called Cordeiro “beautiful, bright and educated as well as driven in her career and life” in addition to calling the two a happy couple. Rodriguez himself hinted at how serious things were getting when he went Instagram official with his new lady. He posted a picture of himself with his two daughters and Cordeiro ahead of the holiday season. The two were also spotted all smiles dining together recently. And a source shared,

“Friends say he is very happy and enjoy their time together. She’s great, she’s a former nurse and mother of two.”

Jaclyn Cordeiro is a 42-year-old Canadian-born fitness instructor, competitor, model, and writer. As can already be assumed, she is a health freak and that is one major point that she and A-Rod bonded on. Cordeiro is also the founder of a six-week fitness program, JACFIT, that she worked on and developed in 2020 during the first COVID-19 pandemic.

She is also a registered nurse, who graduated with honors in nursing in addition to a bachelor in science from the University of Windsor. She is a single mother of two daughters whom she shares with her ex Laureano Cordeiro.

Reports suggest that merely after five months of giving birth to her first in May 2011, she took part in the Canadian Physique Alliance figure category. Her second daughter was born in October 2012. She fits the bill perfectly for Rodriguez as a source close to him claimed,
“He would not date anyone for a few months or longer who was not into daily fitness. It is a major part of his life.”
Cordeiro aspires to not be an inspiring figure for her daughters and be someone they can loop up to, and that indeed is an admirable sentiment. On the same note, a source shared that she and the MLB veteran share a compatible parenting style.
