The two got into a relationship later on and got engaged in January 2013. However, they chose not to marry. Their first child, a son was born in 2014. In 2016, their second child, a daughter was born. In 2020 however, Wilde ended her engagement with him. However, the news of Wilde dating Harry Styles messed things up. Sudeikis was hoping for a reconciliation which did not happen.
In 2022 at the CinemaCon, Wilde was served with custody papers for their children on stage while she was presenting her film Don’t Worry Darling. She publicly criticized his actions.
