Why Sony Should Make The Amazing Spider-Man 3!
Andrew Garfield might return as the Web-Slinging superhero after Spider-Man: No Way Home and Sony’s Spider-Man is his perfect future. With that being said, Marvel’s latest release, Spider-Man: No Way Home echoed loud that Garfield’s Spider-Man deserves a third chance to get portrayed on screen. Fans first met Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man in the 2012 released movie, The Amazing Spider-Man. However, post that, he only appeared once as the friendly neighborhood superhero on screen.
With that being said, post-Andrew Garfield’s depiction as the Web-Slinging superhero, it was Tom Holland who took over the role. Holland’s Spider-Man has been successful all this while. But that doesn’t mean Garfield’s time as Spider-Man could not return.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe Reboot
Sony showed up with The Amazing Spider-Man in the same year when the Marvel Cinematic Universe launched The Avengers. This was exactly what propelled the franchise to come up with ideas to launch MCU’s own Spider-Man and a respective universe. Apparently, the ideas changed The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as a project that thrived to set up the future of Marvel films. With that being said, Andrew Garfield was about to return for another two sequels of the franchise and at last in Sinister Six. In fact, Sony started to work on Venom to capitalize on the protagonist’s popularity at the box office. But none of these films showed up and the fans welcomed the Marvel Cinematic Universe reboot.
Garfield’s Return As Spider-Man Would Be Better Than Tobey Maguire’s
The return of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man: No Way Home was already anticipated by the MCU fans. But no one would have thought that Garfield’s Spider-Man will steal the show. Most of the support has been given to Garfield’s Spider-Man all this while, even after his own franchise flopped due to his performances. With that being said, Spider-Man: No Way Home showed that he would be better to return as compared to Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man. In contrast, Maguire’s story has got a trilogy to grow but Garfield’s depiction as Peter Parker failed to get his closure.
Sony Should Give Garfield A Chance
Now that the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home have echoed loud Garfield’s Spider-Man’s approval, it is the right time for the franchise to announce The Amazing Spider-Man 3. Moreover, a production house like Sony is in such a position where it could do so many things with Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man. Thus, the Web-Slinging superhero should return with a bigger capacity this time. In fact, Garfield’s Spider-Man will be the perfect fit to play in the entire shared universe.
There is no doubt in echoing that Sony wants Spider-Man to get involved in all their villain-oriented movies and fight characters like Morbius, Venom, and Kraven. Moreover, Spider-Man: No Way Home has already killed all the theories that could have stopped Garfield’s depiction of Spider-Man again.
To conclude, Sony can explore way too much with Andrew Garfield and Spider-Man if only they bring them back in the house.
