Yeezy Szn 10: Kanye West Only Screening Bald Models For Upcoming Fashion Show As Disgraced Fashion Line Aims For A Comeback
The fashion career of Kanye West, who goes by the moniker ‘Ye’, is far from over.
The contentious designer seems to be getting ready to launch a new Yeezy line after splitting with Adidas. Yeezy Szn 10 is his first fashion presentation since his disastrous Paris Fashion Week presentation in late 2022, during which he debuted his repugnant ‘White Lives Matter T-shirt’.
The casting calls for Yeezy Szn 10 was held by the 45-year-old in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday and Friday. It was reported that applicants for West’s auditions had to have their heads shaved and dress entirely in black.
Naturally, West also shaved his own head and wore a Husky T-shirt, which he revived as a gift from a casting event attendee.
Kanye West Only Hosted A Screening For Bald Or Shaved Heads
Kanye West is starting up his new fashion project. According to reports, he is actively seeking bald models to display his most recent clothing for his upcoming fashion show, Yeezy Szn 10.
Moreover, Ye received a Husky T-shirt as a gift from a disabled fan after the auditions. He posed for a picture with the fan while sporting a shaved head, a messy beard, and sweatpants. Not just this, the rapper continued to wear the distinctive T-shirt after the auditions were over, that a disabled person had given to him.
The applicants began lining up as early as 7 AM, and some remained in line until 3 PM.
It’s unclear what West had planned for the 10th season of his fashion line, but the artist is clearly likely to have diversity in mind when planning the new program.
For the unversed, Ye caused a stir at his final Yzy Szn 9 fashion show in Paris in October by donning a ‘White Lives Matter’ T-shirt and performing with conservative commentator, Candace Owens. His subsequent anti-Semitic remarks sparked more backlash, and Adidas ultimately decided to end their lucrative alliance.
Yeezy Szn 10 Hopes To Make A Successful Comeback
All you can really expect from Yeezy Szn 10’s clothing lineup is beige, which has been a ‘Yeezy’ trademark since the brand’s inception. However, Kanye West dressed his wife, Bianca Censori, in a skin-tight one-piece when the two attended Fear of God’s most recent fashion show. Well, this could provide some information about what Yeezy Szn 10 will offer.
Recently, Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband has kept a low profile, but he did appear to show his support for Fear of God designer, Jerry Lorenzo. Earlier this month, he and his wife were spotted in the audience at Lorenzo’s inaugural fashion show at the Hollywood Bowl.
When Ye unveiled his ‘White Lives Matter’ T-shirt in October 2022 while hanging out with Candace Owens, a vocal bigot, he was all but banished from the fashion community. He had allegedly harassed the fashion editor, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, and spread false information about Virgil Abloh’s death.
Also, he was accused of using anti-Semitic hate speech that had cut off his alliance with partners like Balenciaga and Adidas. Hence, Kanye West’s reputation and financial standing had taken a significant hit as a result of the Yeezy Season 9 show’s fallout.
