And the legend whom he was gushing over was none other than Anthony Hopkins.

Bryan Cranston recently gave an interview to PEOPLE for its latest issue where he recalled receiving “a beautiful letter” from Anthony Hopkins. He shared,
“He just loved Breaking Bad and thought it was phenomenal, and I was so touched by it.”
“I’m sitting there talking to one of the greatest actors ever and just in awe. You try not to be starstruck and you also don’t want to be a fanboy and say, ‘And then what about this movie? And then what about that movie?’ You want to be able to have a decent conversation. So it’s kind of nerve-wracking and exciting at the same time.”
After all, not everyone can boast of getting a fan letter from an Oscar winner.

Anthony Hopkins’ beautiful letter to Bryan Cranston
The Father actor wrote this ‘fan letter’ way back in 2013 when the series finale had aired. Reports suggested that he binge-watched the five-season series in a two-week marathon and was left awestruck. He then went on to pen one of the sweetest letters to the actor who brought Walter White to life. In his letter, he wrote,
