‘You Did The Right Thing’: Harry Styles Hailed as ‘People’s Champion’ For Cancelling Copenhagen Concert After Deadly Shooting
As a result of a shooting that happened near the concert venue where British music sensation Harry Styles was supposed to perform in Copenhagen, he decided to cancel his performance there. A large-scale shooting occurred on Sunday at Field’s, a shopping center in the Danish capital, leaving three people dead and several more wounded. Styles was already slated to play close by at the Royal Arena, but he canceled the event in light of the tragedy.

A shooting occurred at the nearby Fields mall around 6 p.m. local time on Sunday, Copenhagen police reported via social media, adding a description of the shooter as a 22-year-old male. This occurred hours before the “As It Was” singer was scheduled to perform at Copenhagen’s Royal Arena for his “Love on Tour” show.

The Eternals star postponed his much-awaited concert in the middle of this chaos and tension. He announced the same on social media and expressed sympathy to individuals who had suffered injuries or had lost a friend or family member. “I’m heartbroken along with the people of Copenhagen. I adore this city. The people are so warm and full of love,” Styles, 28, tweeted Sunday evening. “I’m devastated for the victims, their families, and everyone hurting. I’m sorry we couldn’t be together. Please look after each other. H.”
