Millie Bobby Brown Waited for a Secret to be Revealed that She Already Knew
Millie Bobby Brown was just ten when she got cast in Stranger Things. With time, her relationship with her costars strengthened. But she shared a special connection with one star in particular. She has been best of friends with Noah Schnapp throughout the show’s run aka her whole life.
Schnapp, who plays Will on the show shocked the world when he came out as gay earlier this year. He posted a TikTok with text over his head which read:
“When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know.’”
The family and friends Schnapp spoke of in his coming out TikTok, also included his BFF Millie Bobby Brown. She makes it in Scnapp’s circle of closest loved ones, whom the New York-born star chose to come out to before he told the world. To his surprise, the Enola Holmes actress already knew.
Millie Bobby Brown’s Reaction to Noah Schnapp’s Secret
In an interview with Variety, Scnapp revealed that he was very nervous to come out to Brown. He wanted to do it in person but he chickened out so many times that he eventually decided to do it over FaceTime. In a public place.
Schnapp was scared but his friend’s reaction warmed his heart along with many others. As Schnapp told Variety:
“I just FaceTimed her one day in the middle of a Party City and I was like, ‘Millie, I’m gay.’ And she was like, ‘Oh, Schnapper! You told me finally!’”
This wholesome anecdote gives an insight into the pair’s friendship, which fans love. However, with Brown engaged to Jake Bongiovi and Schnapp’s sexuality, their infamous marry-by-40 pact the BFFs had with one another [as revealed by them in a previous interview] might be in danger now.
Noah Schnapp and Millie Bobby Brown will be seen sharing the screen as Mike and Eleven for the last time in Stranger Things season 5, which is set to release sometime next year.
