Amber Heard’s trip to Spain has turned out to be more chaotic for her instead of being a stressbuster. The actress lost a defamation case against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, earlier this year and was asked to pay him the compensatory damages. At the time, Amber Heard claimed that she has no money and rumors said she had to sell her California desert compound in an off-market deal in order to pay the actor. However, people have been trolling her on social media as she was spotted in Spain recently and claims to be “broke” only when it comes to paying Johnny Depp.
A PR expert gave her opinions on Amber Heard’s trip
PR expert Kelly Brady gave her opinions on Amber Heard‘s Spain trip despite claiming that she has no money to pay Johnny Depp. She said,
“Anything you do that is covered in the media is like being judged in a global public court. If you are going through money problems publicly, and then you are photographed living it up on a lux vacation, you’re just opening the flood gates to be ridiculed, to be doubted, and called a liar, even if you are not paying for this trip.”
The actress reportedly lived in Miami after the court’s decision then went to the Hamptons, then traveled by jet to Israel, and now went to Spain.
The actress was spotted in Spain with her daughter
The actress was spotted in Palma de Mallorca, Spain with her one-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige, and her girlfriend Bianca Butti. She was spotted spending time with her daughter on some swings and enjoying her time in the country. The actress lived in Miami after the court ruled in her ex-husband’s favor.
Amber Heard has to pay roughly $10 million
Actor Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for defamation over an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post back in 2018. In the op-ed, she claimed to be a survivor of domestic abuse. On June 1st, the jury concluded that the editorial was about Johnny Depp and ordered the actress to pay the actor for compensatory and punitive damages, which added up to roughly $10 million. She also received $2 million in compensatory damages. The actress claimed at the time that she is broke and cannot pay the amount but it seems like she has enough money for a trip to Spain.
