The trailer revealed an intimate love scene between the Dune actress, O’Connor, and Faist. It showed a love triangle happening in the movie. The intimate scene between the three left Tom Holland‘s fans into a meltdown. Zendaya and Holland are the favorite couples in Hollywood as they started dating after starring together in MCU’s Spider-Man films.

What is Zendaya’s Challenger about?
Zendaya stars as professional tennis player Tashi opposing O’Connor and Mike Faist in the upcoming Luca Guadagnino film Challenger. The film centers on Tashi and her husband Art (Faist) as they meet up with Patrick (O’Connor), a former foe who also happens to be Tashi’s ex-lover and closest friend. Tashi persuades Art to sign up for the Challengers tennis tournament, but when Art finds out he’ll be facing Patrick, drama and fierce rivalry follows.
The Zapped actress was trained for months by a professional tennis instructor and former player Brad Gilbert. Gilbert worked on the movie as a consultant in addition to working with Zendaya in the gym.
Challengers is scheduled to premiere in theaters on September 15, 2023.
