Famous for songs like Foolish Games and You Were Meant for Me, Jewel has had a great career over the years, and she has been actively involved with her philanthropic acts too.

However, in another interview with People, Jewel replied when asked about her dating rumors with Costner.
I found love, and I’m not talking about Kevin’s. I’m so happy, irrelevant of a man. It has nothing to do with being in a relationship or not being in one.
On the other hand, in a recent interview on The Howard Stern Show, Costner gave his clarification about the dating rumors and said that he wants to protect his friendship with Jewel. He said,
She’s special, and I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have. She’s special to me. She’s beautiful enough to go out with(…) I don’t want the press to ruin this for us, because … I’ve had conversations with her, text wise, and she’s so smart, and she’s been through a lot herself, and so we have a friendship.
The timing of the rumors comes at a time when Costner has recently gone through a divorce with his ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, with whom he had been married for almost 20 years. On the other hand, Jewel was married for six years to rodeo star Ty Murray and had a son with him.

It seems like Costner’s charm has also taken over the Royal family. In a recent interview with People, Costner shared that Prince William once told him that his mother, Princess Diana, had a crush on him. He said,

This revelation by Costner shows his connection with the royal family of Great Britain.
