The American’s old mockumentary sitcom series The Office is reviving again, well not as a series, but as a LEGO set! LEGO which is a toy construction company is releasing its’ brand new set of one of the highly acclaimed American series that is still being loved by fans. The official LEGO Twitter announced its arrival with a small hint that was noticed by the series’ fans.
This American series is one of the best sitcoms ever made that aired on NBC for nearly a decade from 2005 to 2013. Let’s drive straight into what has been revealed to date about this brand new set of LEGO.
The Office LEGO Set
The hit TV series transforming into a LEGO set was not a miracle but was possible due to years of planning, which was confirmed by JaiJai Lewis, who is a big fan along with the Creator/Designer of the upcoming official LEGO set shared the same.
On July 14th, the LEGO Twitter page shared a picture having a famous prop used from the series, and to a closer look, a tape dispenser was seen with Dwight scribbled across it. That was already enough to give fans a hint of what was coming next, however, the caption, made it very clear about the mysterious set, stating, “The thing about a practical joke is you have to know when to stop… too bad we’re just getting started.” For the unversed, that caption is a line from office manager Michael Scott (Steve Carell) who responded to the sales associate Jim Halpert’s (John Krasinski) prank in the pilot episode of The Office.

The set’s layout is a remarkably detailed version of the series’ set featuring Company offices, including the reception desk, Jim and Dwight’s desks, Michael Scott’s office, and the conference room. The 1,164-piece set features 15 mini-figures of the well-known characters from the show. It will officially be released on October 1.
Fans’ Reactions To The LEGO Set
Fans are all over the moon with the official reveal of The Office set. Though they are clever and had already guessed the theme as LEGO previously shared a picture of a stapler inside of what seems to be Jello, that was placed on a desk with an office background of Dwight’s table.
Fans shared their excitement on Twitter, with one fan who didn’t even watch the show sharing their energy for the same. Check out the tweets below.
