After the end of the Infinity Saga, we saw some of our beloved OG Avengers exit the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Natasha Romanoff sacrificed her life in Avengers: Endgame, Tony Stark died protecting the planet and Captain America got a fitting happy ending. The next phase with the Multiversal introduction is filled with variants, inter-dimensional travel, and new superhero faces. We will even see the X-Men become a part of the MCU officially with Deadpool 3.
Falcon’s Suit in Captain America: Brave New World First Look
An image showing Falcon’s new suit in Captain America: Brave New World has gone viral. Different from what we saw in the series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the suit seems suspiciously close to Captain America’s original suit, only with a wing added which is the signature of Falcon’s style and power. Fans seem to be mad at this aspect and want the hero to adorn the suit from the series.

Noticing the insane similarities, fans on social media have been claiming that the studios put no effort into revising the costume and made Anthony Mackie wear the same suit that Chris Evans wore in Captain America: Civil War. Fan reactions are mixed, but more lean towards bashing the ‘copy-paste’ approach adopted by Marvel. What is new in Falcon’s appearance? The decision to make Falcon take up the shield and the Captain America mantle was debated as well. Now, his entire identity seems to be up in flames with users on X calling him Captain Falcon and a ‘cheap knockoff of the original.’ The reason behind changing suits is to make the hero stand out and go with the modern trends in fashion all the while remaining true to the comic’s essence. The new suit achieves neither and fails to excite the viewers.
When Will Captain America: Brave New World Release?
The next chapter in Captain America’s story is set to release on February 14, 2025. It is said to pick up the story right where the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier left off. Directed by Julius Onah, we will see Harrison Ford and Sebastian Stan star in the movie along with Anthony Mackie. Previously, the movie was titled Captain America: New World Order, but was soon changed to its current name.
Initially set to release in 2024, the movie was delayed due to the writers and actors’ strike. Moreover, a couple of reshoots and post-production cuts were being made fearing ill-reception of the movie. Fans’ take on the new suit must have disappointed Marvel. We can only wait to see how the movie performs at the box office.
