Brie Larson Took Up Her Doll’s Name

Brie Larson was born Brianne Desaulniers, but she refused to carry her name around when she started acting. It does not come as much of a surprise that she chose to adopt a stage name because many actors have changed their names for some reason or other. Even Indiana Jones star Harrison Ford had changed his name early on in his career, only to change it back to his original name later.

That was a very thoughtful move for Brie Larson as she wanted to make her doll included in the family. Not to mention that it saved the actress energy she would need to correct every person who mispronounced her name.
