Years ahead of her trial, the 37-year-old mentioned using the phrase “I’m sorry” way too much. Portraying herself as a person who unnecessarily takes the blame, Heard took the spotlight on herself.

Amber Heard has been on news for a long time since her association with Johnny Depp. Especially publicized after her defamation trial against Depp, the 37-year-old actress largely came off as a villain. However, before deriving fame from her controversial lawsuit, the actress appeared in an interview with Vanity Fair in 2013.

With a far-sighted dream of becoming a successful Hollywood actress, Heard’s trajectory seems to have remained the same. Sitting for an interview in a dark floral printed dress, donning the summer vibe with open hair and red lips, Amber Heard took the first question. Asking “Do you want me to read the question?” Heard began reading the question on her own. 

Receiving the first question, “The words or phrases I most overuse” the Aquaman actress gave a quick thought before reverting. Coming up with the most shocking reply, the actress claimed, “I’m sorry”. Considering herself as someone who perpetually takes the blame and thus apologizes a lot, Heard mentioned, “Perhaps I don’t use it enough actually.”

Amber Heard Seeking Apology During Her Trial

Previously portraying herself as a person who often apologizes, Amber Heard evidently disappointed netizens by rarely apologizing during her infamous defamation trial. Standing her grounds during the lawsuit, viewers believe, the actress had been putting up a show during the proceedings. Adamantly believing that Heard was presenting fake evidence and lies throughout the trial, netizens called her out for not apologizing enough for her mistakes.

However, during the court proceedings, evidence was presented where the actress was heard apologizing to Johnny Depp, and even presented written documentation. “I’m sorry I hit you like this, but I did not punch you.” After apologizing the actress even sent a letter writing, “I’m sorry I hurt you”.
