Academy Award winner Will Smith disclosed the difficulties he faced at an early age. The Men in Black actor had a tough time growing up with women as he believed that his physique was an obstacle that kept him from being confident in from of the opposite gender.
Will Smith’s Challenging Journey With Women While Growing Up
Every acclaimed actor in the film industry reveals their struggles before stepping into the world of fame at least once. Will Smith, lauded for his exceptional physique and personality did not have it while he was young. The Focus star revealed how challenging it became for the Oscar winner to interact with women while growing up as he believed his body was disproportionate. According to Showbiz Cheatsheet, Will Smith stated:
“It was difficult being this tall and about half of the weight that I am now, you know? So I had that for a lot of years and as I started to fill out I gained a little more confidence. It was a difficult time growing up with women because I was hurt, you know? I was hurt.”
The Collateral Beauty star was tall since he was in his teenage and revealed that the physique that he has now was lacking during his formative years. Smith did not have the confidence to interact with women during that time which eventually left the megastar hurt. But now, as the actor grows older he’s getting finer which makes him feel confident enough.
Will Smith Described His Relationship With Wife as Perfectly Wrong
Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith have recently been in the limelight due to the bombshell revelation that came from the Girls Trip actress. However, the After Earth star once opened up about his relationship with Pinket Smith before their marriage. Surprisingly Smith had feelings for the Scream 2 actress way before they started dating. The actor initially kept his thoughts underground as he was married to his ex-wife Sheree Zampino. The actor, according to Showbiz Cheatsheet stated:
“It was one of those things where everything went perfectly – not perfectly in the sense of smooth and lovely – but everything that went wrong went perfectly wrong…I was coming out of a divorce and she was coming out of a bad relationship and there was just no time for bull***. It was just blatant, hard, cold honesty and that’s the basis of our relationship: harsh honesty.”
Will Smith shared that initially, things didn’t go smoothly for the pair as they navigated through different situations, but what went well was the couple’s feelings for each other which is however being questioned after all the controversy surrounding the separation of Smith and Pinkett Smith going on recently.
