The Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson is a well-known personality worldwide who has an incredible fanbase for both acting and wrestling. Nevertheless, an alternate outcome was conceivable if Johnson had specialized in the path he initially wanted to start his career. The Jungle Cruise star wanted to lead off his career in the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) but fate had something else in mind and Johnson could not pursue his desired profession. According to Biography.com Johnson wrote:

“I realized no respectable law school would ever let me in with my pile of steaming s**t grades, end of story”.

It sounded incredibly exciting to Dwayne Johnson to be a real-life crime-fighting spy, but the requirements and practical training the profession requires discouraged the actor from entering in CIA. The San Andreas star doesn’t feel capable of overcoming such obstacles. Johnson then tried to get a spot in the NFL in light of his athletic prowess in college but faced disappointment when he failed to acquire it and had to step back from his choices. After failing these attempts Johnson felt a need for a new plan and this marked the beginning of his successful career in wrestling and then acting.

After retiring from wrestling, Dwayne Jonson started his career in acting with small roles. Despite being iconically known as The Rock, the actor received small roles in television series as his acting career did not commence with a flourish. Johnson did slight roles in TV shows like The 70’s Show and Star Trek: Voyager that earned him faint notice. After contributing to various shows, it was a Stephen Sommers movie, The Mummy Returns that gave Johnson immense appraisals from the viewers.

Dwayne Johnson’s role as the Scorpion King was so impressive that it led to a spin-off film The Scorpion King in 2002. This marked the beginning of the actor’s rising stardom. The Rampage star not only slayed the action-packed movies but gathered roles in the comedic and family-friendly genre as well. Disney’s 2016 animated movie Moana in which Johnson gave his voice, reaped commercial success, and was honored for voicing Maui in the movie. Johnson now is a worldwide acclaimed celebrity who has been a prominent part of the billion-dollar franchise Fast and Furious since 2011 and another acclaimed franchise G.I. Joe.
