Venom Director feels we might have a crossover between Spidey and Venom.

Well, the one person who has our attention is none other than Venom director Ruben Fleischer. While he was promoting his movie Zombieland: Double Tap he was asked his thoughts on Spider-Man. The fandom asked him whether Spider-Man could be facing off against Venom on the big screen? Although Andy Serkis is directing the sequel for Venom, Ruben Fleischer thinks that the two will be crossing each other’s paths at some point.

Fleischer says, “That’s where it’s all going to lead. And that’s the exciting thing because we changed the origin of Venom … in the comics, he evolved from Spider-Man, but because of the Marvel-Sony thing, we weren’t able to that. And so the thing I think it’s building towards, and will be exciting to see, is when they do confront each other.”

It seems the President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige believes that the hero and the anti-hero will face-off soon. Feige says, “I think probably it’s up to Sony,” Feige told CinemaBlend when asked about the prospect of a team-up film. “Sony has both those characters and, has Venom in their world. I don’t know what their plans are for another Venom or if they’re doing that. But it seems likely at some point.”
