Black Panther 2: Tenoch Huerta Seemingly Confirms Namor Casting With Cryptic Tweet
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the upcoming Wakandan adventure that will resume the ongoing trend of debuting new Marvel Cinematic Universe characters in this ongoing Phase 4 by giving MCU fans the awaited debuts of Kamala Khan, Riri Williams, a.k.a. Ironheart (Dominique Thorne), and now, surprisingly, Tenoch Huerta’s alleged involvement as the long-awaited Namor the Sub-Mariner.
Namor’s Inclusion Was Teased In Endgame
The inclusion of Namor was earlier teased ever since Endgame, with Okoye even mentioning that an underwater earthquake exists off Africa’s coast that Wakanda had decided to ignore.
Now, it looks like the tease will finally pay off as Namor will have a more massive presence in Wakanda Forever. The Narcos: Mexico actor is still portraying very coy about his debut in the MCU, but Huerta had earlier revealed that he is eagerly learning the Mayan language for his character, suggesting that the Namor looks like it has Mayan roots.
Prior to the premiere of the Black Panther sequel, the newcomer in the MCU is opening up about his role as Namor.
Namor Actor Teases Debut in MCU in Black Panther 2
The new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever promo art of Namor came out last Sunday, leaving many fans to believe that the Marvel anti-hero will make an appearance in the much-anticipated sequel.
As an outcome of the same, Tenoch Huerta, rumored to play the Namor in MCU’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever even gave a hilarious reaction to the fans.
Will Tenoch Huerta Be Announced as Namor in SDCC?
It looks like Tenoch Huerta is teasing his involvement as the Sub-Mariner in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. That being said, it’s also quite reasonable to even assume that Marvel can make an official announcement sooner rather than later.
Here are leaked images of himself as Namor
Huerta even shared a photo of SpongeBob SquarePants‘ Mermaid Man, with the caption saying:
“Tenoch images are leaked…”
Marvel Studios confirmed its presence at SDCC earlier this year, and there’s a strong possibility that Huerta’s inclusion in the Black Panther sequel will finally find itself unveiled in Hall H. Meanwhile, the much-awaited Black Panther 2 trailer could debut as well.
