“It was just atrocious”: Brad Pitt Panicked After Watching His $190 Million Movie For the First Time
Brad Pitt has been a prominent figure in the film industry for decades and has done multiple successful films. But the actor once revealed to have felt uncomfortable as he sat down to watch his cinematic masterpiece.
The A-lister was disappointed after watching one of his movies that had a whopping budget of $190 million as it failed to attain what Brad Pitt wanted his movie to be. The actor had high hopes for the movie and was anticipated to meet his expectations but fell short.
Brad Pitt’s Reaction After Watching His $190 Million Was Full of Panic
The actor had an experience that he never imagined. Brad Pitt‘s initial reaction to the ending of his 2013 hit film, World War Z was trepidatious. Despite the high spirit for the movie, Pitt found the original ending “atrocious”. The Bullet Train star was so determined that he decided to enhance the lackluster ending with which the movie was set to commence. The movie is based on a zombie attack and is recognized as one of the best movies of the Fight Club star. Brad Pitt in an interview with USA Today said:
“It was just atrocious, you see some first cuts and you go, ‘Oh, it’s everything you want it to be and more.’ It’s working on certain levels that you didn’t even understand when you were shooting it. Like, I had this feeling seeing Moneyball. And here was the exact opposite.”
World War Z is adapted from Max Brook’s book of the same name and Pitt wanted to make it better. The experience of watching his hit movie for the first time was nothing less than witnessing a successful cut of a film like Moneyball. Pitt considers his contribution to Marc Forster’s film as one of his finest works ever done in an action-horror project. The Mr. and Mrs. Smith star wanted to align the ending of World War Z with its theme and source material for which he leveraged writer Damon Lindelof‘s skills for a refined version. Brad Pitt’s toil was justified, as the revised edition was well-received by fans and viewers.
Brad Pitt Was Accused of Physically Abusing One of His Children
No divorce has been more widely talked about than that of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The former couple was recognized as one of Hollywood’s strongest partners and after their divorce news came out fans couldn’t believe it in the first place. The divorce wasn’t just unsettling but quite messy and became highly debated. According to People, Angelina Jolie claimed that her ex-husband’s behavior was “like a monster” in front of their children. The Tourist star claimed that Pitt grabbed her by the head and shook her.
After the plane incident, the Original Sin star filed a divorce from Pitt citing irreconcilable differences for their breakup, and days after this news, came another, that Brad Pitt was being investigated for child abuse. Jolie claimed that during the fight Pitt was verbally abusive and physical with one of their kids in front of the other five. The L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services was also involved in this case as someone anonymously reported this case to them. According to Pitt’s source, the actor was not abusive towards anyone on the plane, especially with his children, and people were just trying to put the War Machine star in a negative light.
