The newly released Netflix’s Blonde is getting a fair amount of criticism from the public due to Ana De Armas’s portrayal of the legendary Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe. Not just the critics, but the celebrities also stated their opinions on Monroe’s biopic. After getting slammed by Monroe’s acolyte Courtney Stodden, the drama film is now getting its share from Brad Pitt’s alleged new girlfriend Emily Ratajkowski, who accused the film of “fetishizing female pain.”
Emily Ratajkowski Slammed Ana De Armas’s Blonde
The 31-year-old Emily Ratajkowski has recently shared her opinions on the Andrew Dominik-directed Marilyn Monroe biopic Blonde, accusing the drama movie of “fetishizing female pain.”
The supermodel slammed the movie on Friday amidst the recent criticisms the film’s receiving about the portrayal of Monroe by Ana De Armas.
Ratajkowski has yet to watch the film, however, shared her opinions on TikTok stating, “I’m not surprised to hear that it’s yet another movie fetishizing female pain, even in death.”
Referencing the renowned women who had to face difficulties in their life including Amy Winehouse, Princess Diana, and now even Britney Spears. The model stated, “we love to fetishize female pain … We obsess over dead girls and serial killers.”
She added, “And I think as women, I can say for myself for sure, I’ve learned how to fetishize my own pain and my own hurt in my life so that it feels like something that can be tended to that’s kind of s*xy.”
“I think we do that in many, many different ways. But I want that to change.”
She also mentioned, “I think we all need to be a little more pi**ed off,” by adding, “2022, baby, is my b**ch era. I think we should all be in our b**ch era.”
The actress concluded by stating she is not going to get angry referencing the movie she has yet to watch.

As per the OK! Magazine, the actress is “secretly dating” Brad Pitt, one of the producers of Blonde film. Their relationship rumors sparked after the former’s divorce from her now estranged husband Sebastian Bear-McClard came to the surface.
Many sources claimed that the Gone Girl star had caught the attention of the Bullet Train actor, however, he never really approached the model.
The US Weekly insider shared that the alleged couple is “in the very early stages” of a relationship with PEOPLE reporting they “are spending a lot of time together.”
It could be a casual fling as the outlet claimed that the pair are not dating formally though it could be an escape mode for both the parties as they are currently engaged in their own legal problems.
While the pair have not confirmed anything as of this moment, one can watch the drama film, Blonde based on the 2000 novel of the same name by Joyce Carol Oates, on Netflix.
