Jonathan Majors was a rising star in Hollywood after his two blockbuster hits. The Lovecraft Country actor was roped in as the antagonist Kang for the future Marvel Cinematic Universe projects. However, after the allegations made by his rumored girlfriend, uncertainty looms over the actor’s career.
Jonathan Majors’ Victim Gets Temporary Protection
Jonathan Majors was arrested on the charges of strangulation, harassment, and assault made by his 30-year-old girlfriend on March 26 in New York. The unnamed victim was taken to the hospital immediately due to minor injuries around the neck and head. With the series of developments in the case, the alleged girlfriend of the actor was granted a temporary order of protection along with the consent of the defense counsel ahead of the May 8 court proceedings. With the temporary order of protection “the subject of the order protection to maintain contact with you. However, the subject cannot abuse, harass or threaten you”.
According to the statement given by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office to the media outlet Variety-
“Today a judge granted a Full Temporary Order of Protection for the victim, per the People’s request and with the consent of defense counsel. (At the time of arraignment, a Limited Temporary Order of Protection was granted.)”
From the start of the court proceedings and trials, Jonathan Majors’ attorney and his team of representatives have denied all the charges against the Devotion actor. The legal team of the actor even went on to release all the text messages that were exchanged between him and his rumored girlfriend after he was arrested.
In a statement given to Variety by the actor’s attorney, Priya Chaudhry mentions-
“We have been transparent and cooperative with the District Attorney, including giving the District Attorney ample evidence, including witness statements, of Mr. Majors’ innocence. In fact, we recently provided a forensic medical opinion from a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Doctor and Trauma Specialist who has examined the photos and videos of the woman and concluded, without hesitation, that the woman did not have any injuries at the nightclub and the injuries she later sustained did not come from Mr. Majors (and could not have come from the way the woman described).”

However, looking at the current state of the much-hyped cases, nothing seems to be working in favor of the Marvel actor.

Amidst the courtroom drama and legal mess, it is evident that Hollywood has also turned its back on Jonathan Majors. The actor’s Hollywood career is in crisis now as the talent management company Entertainment 360 that represented him has dropped him. Many notable faces from the entertainment world have also started maintaining a distance from the Loki actor.
