Charlize Theron Had a Creepy Encounter With a Famous Movie Producer
Back in the 2019 episode of The Howard Stern Show, the 47-year-old actress, Charlize Theron opened up about her bizarre encounter with a famous movie producer when she auditioned at his house.
She was a teenager at the time. She shared,
“I had just turned 19, I might have still been 18. I had never been out for an audition.” She was informed by her agent to “go to this guy’s house. It’s on Saturday at 9 p.m.’”
Though she did not reveal the identity of that person, the “big deal” personality opened the door in his pajamas.
“He had a very healthy ego, he felt very good about himself,” she said. “There was some kind of muzak playing in the house. He sat very close to me. That was strange. The drinking bothered me. I was like, ‘This doesn’t feel right.’”
Theron asked the producer if she would read the script she was provided for the audition, to which he responded that they were just going to talk.
At one point in the bizarre audition, “he put his hand on my knee,” she said.
“You just go blank. Like you don’t know what to do, but I left. I don’t even know how I got out of the house, but I left. It would have ended really badly. I was driving my Ford Fiesta, that I was renting, up Laurel Canyon and I was so angry with myself that I didn’t say something. I was like, I’m not that kind of girl. Why did I not tell him to go f–k himself?’ It made me so angry.”
The actress, after escaping that situation regretted not having to say anything else, however, she let go of that regret when she faced him once again.
Charlize Theron’s Confronting The Movie Producer After The Horrifying Situation
The Bombshell actress in the interview shared that she got an opportunity to confront the “big-deal” movie producer when she established herself as a successful personality in the industry.
Eight years after the incident, when she confronted that person, she shared that the famous producer had no recollection of the horrifying moment he had with her.
She “went down the list” and explained to him the whole situation which would help him to recollect what he had done to her. Though he was “embarrassed,” he stood steadfast on him having no recollection of the moment happening at the time.
“I had my moment,” the actress shared which meant that he would have known what his mistake was.
