Disturbing Details From Sean Diddy Combs’ Sexual Assault Lawsuit: Diddy’s Team Brands Calls the Lawsuit a “Money Grab” Attempt
Sean Diddy Combs is facing another barrage of allegations after he just settled a lawsuit with his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura who alleged the charges of r*pe, s*xual assault, and abuse. Joie Dickerson-Neal has alleged some really disturbing and unsettling events that took place in 1991 in her lawsuit to the New York Supreme Court. According to the lawsuit it took place when she was a student of psychology at Syracuse University.
Although Diddy’s team has already started pushing out the narrative that it is just another “money grab” attempt, the truth is yet to be unveiled.
What is Sean Diddy Combs accused of in the said lawsuit?
Sean Diddy Combs has serious allegations of drugging, s*xual assault, and recording the assault and showing it to people as well which falls under the category of revenge p*rn. According to the reports filed, Dickerson-Neal went on a dinner date with Sean Diddy Combs in 1991, and that’s when things started to take a turn for worse.
It is alleged that Sean Diddy Combs intentionally drugged her with some substance that hindered her ability to stand or walk independently and Diddy took advantage of that by taking her to his music studio and assaulting her. It was also alleged that he recorded the said assault without her knowledge.
DeVanté Swing, a member of the ’90s R&B group Jodeci, actually came forward to say that he had seen a “s*x tape” of the assault and he did not come forward sooner because he was afraid of the repercussions of going head to head with one of the biggest names in the music industry.
The aftermath of the incident, as stated in the court documents, paints a chilling picture of Dickerson-Neal’s life and her physical and mental well-being after the assault which went “into a tailspin”. According to court documents, she struggled with severe depression and s*icidal thoughts before ultimately deciding to drop out of college. While Diddy’s career soared and he rose to fame more and more, Dickerson-Neal:
“tried to block his existence out a[s] she tried to put her life back on track.”
The court documents read:
“Still today, Ms. Dickerson continues to work on her emotional health, economic recovery, and finishing her college degree. Seeking accountability from Combs under the law is one more step in that journey.”
It is yet to see what this haunting case unveils.
Sean Diddy Combs denied claims of the alleged assault through lawyers
In an email to PageSix, the legal representative of Sean Diddy Combs wrote:
“This last-minute lawsuit is an example of how a well-intentioned law can be turned on its head. Ms. Dickerson’s 32-year-old story is made up and not credible. Mr. Combs never assaulted her, and she implicates companies that did not exist. This is purely a money grab and nothing more.”
The “last minute lawsuit” part refers to the fact that New York’s Adult Survivors Act previously allowed survivors of s*xual assault to sue their abusers regardless of how far back the incident took place, is now going to give only a one-year “lookback” window starting from November 24.
However, Dickerson-Neal’s legal team retorted by saying:
“Everyone deserves to be heard, and Combs should not be immune from liability because of his wealth and public stature.”
The lawsuit has been filed against Combs, Bad Boy Entertainment, Bad Boy Records, and Combs Enterprises, and includes serious charges of assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, s*x trafficking, and revenge p*rn.
