During an interview with ELLE, the One Kiss singer opened up on love and life. Dua Lipa had said-
“I’m such a firm believer in love. I blame my parents for that because they have a really good relationship and I think they’ve set my standards high,” the pop star said. “Life is too not short not to say ‘I love you.’ As much as I tell myself not to rush into things or be careful to say ‘I love you’ too fast without really knowing if there’s any substance in the relationship, I think it’s really important to go with your gut.”
Roman Gavras is the son of the Greek-French director Costa Gavras. He has directed the recent Netflix thriller Athena. He has been the face behind the direction of music videos like M.I.A.’s Bad Girls and Frank Ocean’s Jay-Z, and Kanye West’s No Church in the Wild. According to the IMDb page of Roman Gavras, he has shot ads for reputed brands like- Louis Vuitton Dior, and Powerade. The World Is Yours director was nominated for Best Music Video for Jamie XX’s Gosh in 2017. He was nominated twice in 2013 for a Grammy in the Best Short Form Music Video category and an MTV Video Music Award for No Church in the Wild and Bad Girls respectively.
According to a source close to the couple-
“They have been enjoying spending time together. The pair met each other’s close circles over the festive period and have lots in common,” the source added, “Dua knows how important it is to find someone who understands her industry. She feels Romain totally gets it. They’re both really creative people.”
Romain Gavras dated Rita Ora but separated in March 2021 due to difficulties in their work commitments.
