“It was so great to be associated with someone like that for a while…and then it wore off.”

“With anybody you work with, with actors…you’re looking for some kind of connection emotionally, empathetically… I’ve always wanted to work with him. I’ve always seen that in his work.”

Not only did Nolan reveal being impressed by Robert Downey Jr.’s charisma and skills, but he also acknowledged his casting in the MCU. According to the acclaimed director the Gothika star’s casting is one of the most “consequential casting decisions” ever made in the massive business.
