The Conjuring 2 (2016)
The Conjuring 2 is still by far considered one of the scariest installments of The Conjuring franchise. The 2016 movie dealt with the paranormal experts Ed and Lorraine Warren coming together to help a young girl possessed by a demon. The movie gradually shifts to the people involved in the case.
The Nun was introduced in The Conjuring 2. The character of the Nun is a significant part of the movie. The Conjuring 2 offers some of the creepiest scenes which revolves around the ghost of an old man named Bill Wilkins. With a brilliant background score and a dark and quiet atmosphere in maximum part of the movie, The Conjuring 2 stands out in the list of installments in the horror franchise.

The 2013 release The Conjuring dealt with the famous demonologist couple Ed played by Patrick Wison and Lorraine Warren portrayed by actor Vera Farmiga. The couple investigates a case brought up by a family based in Rhode Island as their house is cursed by a witch. One of the biggest reasons for the popularity amongst its audience of The Conjuring is its connection with real-life events.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is the third installment of The Conjuring franchise which is based on a completely different background in comparison to the previously released parts. The case of the demonologist couple Ed and Lorraine Warren dealt with a haunting that takes them to an occultist and his intention to target three different characters through a curse that eventually would lead to devastation.

With unusual incidents taking place at the monastery, Father Burke and Sister Irene come together to look into the matter.

The Curse of La Llorona (2019)
The Curse of La Llorona was directed by Michael Chaves but it was not directly marketed as a part of The Conjuring series. The 2019 movie revolves around a social worker who is worried about a group of kids as one by one they end up becoming a target of a ghost who drowns children.

Annabelle Comes Home (2019)
Annabelle Comes Home is based at the actual home location of the real-life demonologist couple Ed and Lorraine Warren. Unusual events start taking place when a friend of the couple’s babysitter unknowingly reaches out to the haunted objects and artifacts in the vault.

The plot of Annabelle Comes Home is based on a typical horror genre movie. Even with a great cast, the Gary Dauberman-directed project could not live up to the expectations of its audience. The oft-repeated storyline leads to a lukewarm reception by the audience.
