Ezra Miller, Emma Watson Developed “Brother and Sister” Relationship after Sharing Hotel Room Next to Each Other in $33M Movie
Ezra Miller and Emma Watson once collaborated on the film The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Following their collaboration, they developed a close bond. Currently, Miller is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Since Miller and Watson shared a close bond once, the media is intrigued to get some insights from the Harry Potter alum.
However, Watson has kept her lips zipped and hasn’t made any statement regarding Miller’s ongoing controversy. Fans and the media are speculating that the reason behind Watson’s silence is her loyalty toward her friend Miller.

Ezra Miller, who uses they/them pronouns, became a close friend with Emma Watson while filming The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Previously, Miller shared that they admired the cast members so much that they ended up befriending them. They said,
“It is maybe the most miraculous and incredible thing that happened with the making of this movie is that we did no chemistry testing and somehow ended up all feeling like we had the relationships of our characters. It ended up in this situation of binding endless friendship that persists to this day. It’s a case of absolute serendipity and synchronicity. It just occurred that way. And that definitely was a lucky turn for us.”
Miller claimed that the bond they share with Watson is no less than a sibling bond. The two actors made a quick connection on the sets as they shared a hotel room next to each other. They emphasized that the two developed a close “brother and sister” relationship during the course of the movie. Not just that, they even remained in touch after the film was completed.
During an interview, Miller shared that their bond with the Beauty and the Beast actress was so strong that they apparently shared every detail of their life with her. The day Miller was cast in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the first person they contacted was Emma Watson. Miller said,
“Emma was the first person I called. I think, usually, if you know someone who has worked with anyone who you are about to work with, it seems rational to check in and find out what you are plunging into. And, fortunately, when I called Emma, I was given good news. She told me what a magical experience it was for her.”
Watson and Miller indeed shared a close bond; however, it is unclear whether they still share the same bond or not.
Ezra Miller has become the king of controversies after engaging in disorderly conduct. Last year, the actor made headlines following their infamous actions. They were accused of harassment, felony, and burglary. Reportedly, the actor had an inappropriate relationship with a minor girl. According to a police report obtained by a media house, Miller was allegedly “yelling obscenities and became agitated when people began singing karaoke.”
Later, the actor was arrested for misbehaving at a party. This wasn’t the first time they were caught misbehaving. According to Kevin Armstrong, Miller shouted, spat, and interrupted the director during the making of a film. Amidst all these controversies, the actor made a public apology, stating that the cause of their past behavior was because of their complex mental health issues, following which they sought professional help.
