GOTG3: Script Left Two Of Its Stars Sobbing!
Guardians Of The Galaxy actor Karen Gillan who plays Nebula revealed that she along with her costar Pom Klementieff cried when they read the script. However, Karen didn’t reveal what made them cry from the script. But this is indicative enough that the plot is emotional. She said, “We read it in the same room together, and then looked at each other and we were in floods of tears.” She expressed she’s very excited to explore Nebula post-Thanos. Karen continued, “You’re learning more about existing characters and on a deeper level.”
There are not many details revealed about the third installment as of now. But Dave Bautista did shed some light on his character. He confirmed this is the last time we’ll see him as Drax. A few months back Dave explained, “We work in trilogies, and James Gunn has already announced that it’s his last film, and when James is done, I’m done.” However, there’s no information yet as to how his character will be put to an end. When asked Karen about her role, she said she’s currently emotionally invested in her character! She said, “I would love to continue the journey of the character. I like playing her, so I’m not eager to finish.“
