The release party of Vulture at United Center in his hometown based in Chicago sparked a major controversy. The version of Vulture, which was played in Chicago featured a sample from a live performance of the British heavy metal band Black Sabbath’s War Pigs dating back to 1983, US Festival.
Recently Ozzy Osbourne took to social media and spoke about Kanye West’s irresponsible act. He mentioned that West wasn’t given permission to use the song due to his anti-semitic views still, he went ahead with using the song. The American rapper did not bother to respect the rock legend. According to a post on X-
“Kanye West asked permission to sample a section of a 1983 live performance of ‘War Pig’ from the U.S. Festival without vocals & was refused permission because he is an antisemite. He has caused untold heartache to many, he went ahead and used the sample anyway at his album listening party last night. I want no association with this man.”

Osbourne revealed West sent a request to sample his song ‘War Pig’ but Osbourne refused “Because he is an antisemite.”

Black Sabbath’s War Pigs is an anti-war protest song from the album Paranoid. The song was featured in the credits of the movie 300: Rise Of An Empire released in 2014.
