Cardi B is one of the most influential women in the world who has built her career by putting in lots of hard work but also being surrounded by controversies. Well, it’s true, as the rapper had a dark past associated with her successful life. Many have long speculated that she was associated with a gang and has a record of allegedly ordering her crew to beat two women.
The 29-year-old songwriter had been vocal about her past and how she got through many troubles to afford the luxury she has achieved now. She had indeed received what she had wished for, however, her past decisions are now affecting her present.
Cardi B Was Once Part of A Gang!

The world-renowned rapper, Cardi B in an interview with GQ back in 2018 confirmed her being a part of a gang member. According to the reports, she was a member of a different set, the Brin Bloods. It was founded in LA and is widely known for its rivalry with the Crips. There are different sets of gangs that sometimes conflict with one another due to their different ideas, clothing, and politics among other things.
In the GQ interview, she confirmed her connection with the gang stating,
“When I was 16 years old, I used to hang out with a lot of”—agonizing, cliff-diver pause—”Bloods. I used to pop off with my homies. And they’d say, ‘Yo, you really get it poppin’. You should come home. You should turn Blood.’ And I did. Yes, I did.”
In 2019, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine during a court hearing claimed her to be his fellow member, however, the 29-year-old rapper clarified that she belonged to a different set of the gang.
“Brin not 9 Trey. I never been 9 Trey or associated with them,” the mother of two wrote in a now-deleted tweet.

The former stripper was accused of assaulting two bartending sisters, Jade and Baddie Gi, in an incident at Angels Strip Club in Queens, New York City, four years ago. Not just that, she was also allegedly the one to order her crew to beat them before getting directly involved in the case.
It all started when the WAP rapper claimed that one of the sisters had slept with her husband Offset and ordered her crew to beat them. As per the claims by the victims, her team threw tables and chairs at them and added that the rapper got herself involved as well and threw at least one bottle at them.
The 29-year-old songwriter was reportedly caught on camera throwing an ice bucket over the two women during their fight.
She pled guilty to two charges, one for third-degree assault and the other for reckless endangerment, and was punished with 15 days of community service. Originally, she was charged with a total of 14 offenses including two felonies. However, she was dismissed from all 10 of the remaining charges.
She has also accepted a plea deal for the alleged charges on her that states she ordered the first assault on the victims.
