Australian actor Jacob Elordi is recognized for his work as Noah Flynn in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth trilogy followed by starring as Nate Jacobs on HBO’s Euphoria. The actor who starred as Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola’s Pricilla alongside Caliee Spaeny has been appreciated for his performance in the movie. Pricilla Presley’s 1985 memoir Elvis and Me is based on the movie.

Elordi also starred alongside Barry Keoghan in a black comedy psychological thriller by Emerald Fennell; Saltburn. The movie has received positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience with special mention for the performances of the lead actors in the movie. Jacob Elordi addresses his casting in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein

A few weeks ago, according to Deadline, Euphoria actor Jacob Elordi was announced to replace Andrew Garfield in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. Garfield had reportedly dropped out of the project in which he was set to star alongside Mia Goth and Oscar Isaac due to scheduling conflicts and Elordi stepped in to replace The Spider-Man actor.

Andrew Garfield’s fans were quite not happy with the young actor replacing him in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein as they were looking forward to him playing a freaky role on-screen. Some fans pointed out that Jacob Elordi is too pretty to play a monster on-screen and Garfield would have been a better choice to play the iconic character.

Jacob Elordi’s fans came in his defence and expressed their excitement to see their favorite on-screen as a monster. Fans mentioned that his height would surely act as an advantage for his character on-screen. The young actor has managed to impress the audience with his characters starting from The Kissing Booth to Euphoria to now Saltburn.

The actor recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he addressed his recent casting for Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. He said,

“Yeah, I am playing Frankenstein’s creature for Guillermo del Toro who is the God of monsters. He’s the kindest man and he’s so sincere. He’s brilliant.”

Andrew Garfield had not yet commented on his exit from the project but it has been reported that it’s due to postponements after SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Jacob Elordi on returning for season three of HBO’s Euphoria

Jacob Elordi became a household name by portraying a toxic male lead on HBO’s Euphoria. Upon asking about any update on season three of the show, he shared on Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon that he does not know. Elordi revealed the name of the celebrity who had complimented him on his show which had him gushing over it. He said,

“The biggest one is Leonardo DiCaprio. Which sound like a crazy name drop. And it is a crazy name drop. He came up tome in a club one time when I was sort of much younger and he’s like, ‘The shot in the first season, you know the shot where you came in’. And it’s him and I in the middle of this club talking about camera angles.”

He described Leonardo DiCaprio as the GOAT of acting before answering about the show’s return;

“I hope it’s soon, or they’re going to have Benjamin Button me or something. I ‘m going to have a bad back walking down the hallway, you know?”

Further in the conversation, the Australian actor also noted that he is on board with a significant time jump between seasons two and three adding that if they don’t do that, it’s going to look weird.

Euphoria is streaming on HBO.
