Kim Kardashian is one of the most controversial socialites in the world who gains much attention due to her personal life. While her personal life always ends up surprising many of her fans, her grandmother seems to be unaffected by it.
The latter always supports her granddaughter which is why she never got surprised when the former chose to split up with her second husband, Kris Humphries just after 72 days of their marriage.

Mary Jo Campbell, who is better known as MJ is Kris Jenner’s mother and the grandmother of Kim Kardashian. While she is not a regular in the Kardashian Jenner’s stardom life, she has always supported them and even made her appearance on several occasions. Though she loves her grandkids, her bond with the SKIMS founder is quite strong due to a similar experience both went through in their lives.
The aspiring lawyer once shared through an Instagram post that her grandmother first wedding only lasted for “2.5 months.”
Even though MJ felt bad for marrying her love interest at the time, she just followed her heart back then. Things went wrong at the time however she never regretted following her heart and even opened up with the TV reality star about the same.
MJ’s Thoughts on The Second Marriage of Kim Kardashian
The 42-year-old socialite started dating NBA basketball player, Kris Humphries in 2010 who later tied the knot the next year in August. While they were married from 2011 to 2013, they got separated after just 72 days of marriage.
Even her grandmother discussed her brief marriage when a clip of their conversation was uploaded on Kim Kardashian’s KKW website and app in 2017. The makeup mogul shared, “We have a lot in common. We both got married for two months once.”
Campbell agreed with her grandkid and shared, “History repeats itself.”
She continued to share her story by stating,
“I can’t believe it because I was married for two months at 18. Right out of high school, I was given an engagement ring from a guy I had been going out with for four years.”
She further continued that staying in the relationship would have wasted her former partner’s time which is why she decided to call it off. The mother of four enthusiastically agreed with her as she too had gone through the same.
Meanwhile, Kardashian filed for divorce from her third husband, Kanye West in 2021 which was finalized last year. Soon after that, he was secretly married to Bianca Censori.
