Everyone had a crush on Hermione Granger aka Emma Watson from the Harry Potter films. She was one of the biggest stars of the franchise, and pretty beyond words. Her popularity worldwide is insane, and she remains one of the most loved actresses in Hollywood.

However, a few years ago, her career went through a downturn. She was off the grid for a few years and wasn’t active on social media. On her 33rd birthday, she made her Instagram return with beautiful pictures. These pictures were accompanied by a heartwarming caption that is perhaps as pretty as Watson herself.

Emma Watson is a very private person, who rarely talks about her love life in the media. The actress recently took to her Instagram and shared a post as she celebrated her 33rd birthday on Saturday. The Beauty and the Beast movie star reflects on her acting career and personal life. She shared a black-and-white portrait of herself and looked absolutely stunning in the picture. Alongside the picture, she penned a long message which she added in the caption of her post.

The actress wrote,

“This is 33. Holy moly. Before 29 I hadn’t even heard of a Saturn Return as a concept. Let’s just say that now I am well acquainted. I stepped away from my life – I learned to surf badly, I rode some horses that went better, I did a lot of therapy (YESS therapy!).”

Watson continued,

“My brother and I joined forces @renaisspirits. I adopted Sofia in Mexico, who seems to be an angel, not a dog. We filmed a Harry Potter reunion. I said goodbye to my Grandma and Grandpa. I retraced my steps. I started a women’s environmental investment fund. I played Pickleball with @sugarrayleonard and I even played golf and then tried to make all of my girlfriends learn too.”

The Circle movie star goes on to detail all of the activities she did while she was away from social media. Emma Watson revealed,

“I cut my thumb nail off on both hands trying to cook for myself and then was only able to do things one-handed for months. I felt really sad and really pissed off about a lot of things. I learned more about love and being a woman. It took me three years but I have finally figured out a daily practice and can actually keep it for more than a few days in a row. I burned some things down. I eat green things now! I got obsessed with making Squarespace websites. I directed my first commercial.”

Talking about the picture she posted on her birthday, the actress added,

“These pictures were actually taken on my birthday last year, but I wasn’t ready to come out of my Covid Cocoon. Today I feel great. Thank you to the witches in my coven who were so pivotal in helping me arrive at where and who I am now.”

This month, HBO Max and Warner Bros released the teaser along with the news of a new TV series based on J.K. Rowling’s iconic Harry Potter novel series. According to reports, the show is still in the early stages of development. It’s hard to say if Emma Watson will reprise her famous character Hermione Granger in the reboot.

In 2021, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the iconic Harry Potter franchise film Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, many actors from the famous movie series returned to Hogwarts for a memorable reunion. The lead actors of the series, Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint, reunited and were joined by their other co-stars to reminisce about their roles in the titular film series and their experiences working with some of the legendary actors. For her part, Watson told the viewers about her journey in the Harry Potter series. She said.

“There’s something about Harry Potter that makes life richer, like when things get really dark and times are really hard, stories give us places we can go, where we can rest, feel held.”

In her previous interview with Vogue magazine, the Noah movie star talked about an emotional reunion with the stars of the Harry Potter film series. She shared,

“That was the most emotional moment for me. When Rupert says things, he really means them. I was taken aback by how vulnerable and kind he was deciding to be so publicly. Similarly for Dan, it really touched me how reflective he had been over the years about how different it had been for me as a girl.”

Emma Watson continued,

“Like heaven, honestly. I am just so happy they still exist! Most film sets are torn down the minute a scene is finished. I am so happy they are still there for people to enjoy, me included. Stuart Craig is truly a genius. What he did is perfect.”

She concluded,

“I don’t think there was anything I didn’t learn. That was the beauty of it. It was my kindergarten, school, and university. Animals, special effects, media training, stunts… it was endless. I feel so thankful.”
