In contrast to Ana Navarro‘s jaw-dropping joke about Pete Davidson, Edie Falco keeps her remarks about co-star Davidson strictly SFW. During the chat, another show host, Alyssa Farah Griffin, started with a series of questions that quickly turned playful as she asked Edie Falco about her upcoming comedy series Bupkis.
Alyssa Farah Griffin asked,
“What’s it like to play his mom? Why do you think he’s becoming such a ladies’ man, and are you gonna run off with him?”
When the other co-hosts chimed in, Falco couldn’t help but laugh out loud, with Joy Behar asking,
“Why is he so hot? Tell us!” and Sunny Hostin echoing, “He’s so hot, allegedly.”
Then Falco briefed about Davidson and said,
“You know what, he’s adorable! He’s just completely adorable. He’s like 90 feet tall, has this giant smile, and is very self-deprecating. And he’s funny, but the humor is always the joke on him in a way. And there’s something very charming. Women are like, ‘Oh my God, he’s so humble!'”
Host Ana Navarro quickly came up with a joke that stunned her audience,
“He’s got to be more than that because I know a lot of funny men, and none of them are…”
Navarro’s comments suggested that Davidson’s abilities may extend beyond his intelligence and personality, implying that he may be endowed with specific abilities.
Falco immediately responded with laughter,
“I’m staying away from all of that. As his pretend mother, I don’t know anything about that stuff.”
Aside from dating Kim Kardashian, Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor, Kaia Gerber, Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley, and Ariana Grande, Davidson is reportedly dating Emily Ratajkowski currently.
Edie Falco To Play Pete Davidson’s Mom In Bupkis
A new comedy series starring Edie Falco and Pete Davidson, Bupkis, is due to premiere on Peacock. The Nurse Jackie alum said she is playing Davidson’s mother in the comedy series, which will show a fictionalized version of his life.
According to Deadline, she said at the 2022 NBCUniversal Upfront presentation,
“I’m so excited to be playing your mother in this show. Finally, I get to play an overwhelmed mother of two living in a world of corruption. Except for this time, it’s Staten Island.”
Flaco also welcomed Davidson for the occasion, and the two jokingly discussed Bupkis as a Peacock original series. He said,
“I can’t believe we are going to be on Peacock, the streamer responsible for so many great shows like MacGruber and the reruns of The Office. So look out for our new show streaming on the ‘Cock.”
According to Peacock, the series will be a fictionalized version of Pete Davidson’s life. It will combine grounded storytelling with absurd elements from Davidson’s unfiltered and completely original worldview. There are still a few things left to be revealed about Davidson’s life which will be featured in the series. As a comedian, Davidson often talks about his upbringing, including how he lost his father, a firefighter, during the 9/11 tragedy.
