The View’s Whoopi Goldberg’s Opinion On Monogamy
Romantic novels and movies always end up giving larger-than-life expectations to their audience. The portrayal of love and relationships is not at all similar to reality. During an interview with the media outlet, Whoopi Goldberg spoke about her views on marriage. She said-
“They expect you to get married. So I kept trying to do that, but I didn’t want to share information with somebody else. I didn’t want anybody asking me why I was doing what I was doing, or to have to make the other person feel better. But if you’re in a relationship, you have to do those things, and it took me a while to figure out that I didn’t want to.”
While talking about her own experience of her marriage, the media personality said-
“Then one day I thought: I don’t have to do this. I don’t have to conform. I tried marriage, and it wasn’t for me. You can’t be in a marriage because everybody’s expecting you to.”
Whoopi Goldberg expressed her views on monogamy in her book Whoopi’s Big Book of Relationship: If Someone Says “You Complete Me,” RUN! She mentioned-
“Sometimes in a relationship, people can’t always get what they need, and if you have reputable people you can turn to in order to get what you need, I say go for it. It is a whole lot better than being frustrated and angry at the person you love.”
Monogamy and polygamy are all about to each, his own. The celebrated author had blasted The Vanderpump Rules’ Tom Sandoval and his co-star Raquel Leviss on Ariana Madix, his girlfriend.
Whoopi Goldberg On Her Digital Replica In Hollywood
As AI is almost taking over the movie industry in Hollywood, celebrities around the world have spoken against innovative technology. The digital replicas of the actors are being created so that they can be used in the future when they are no longer working or are dead. When you call Siri, you’re talking to Siri. There’s no human in that. Siri is telling you how to get to grandma’s house to avoid traffic updated by the moment, and no one says, ‘Oh, my gosh, But to put everything into one category [of] AI, and somehow fear the rest of what AI is doing for us, I think is misguided.”
To which Whoopi Goldberg declared-
“I don’t want AI duplicating me. That’s what I don’t want.”
This isn’t the first time, The Sister Act actor spoke against the use of AI in Hollywood. According to her will, there is a clause that prevents anyone from making biopics on her using AI, unless they are granted permission from her family.
