Gisele Bündchen has now moved on from her longtime relationship with Tom Brady this October after weeks of reports surfaced about their divorce. Having settled down her divorce, she is eventually back to work in the fashion industry which was on hiatus when she decided to settle down with her former beau.

It’s no secret that Gisele Bündchen is an avid supporter of sustainability and environmental conservation, who has always dedicated herself to the environment. In a September interview with Elle, she opened up about being focused on the regeneration of our planet’s natural resources, especially sharing her concern about her home country, Brazil.
Having her primary focus on biomes, she shared, “I feel very fulfilled in that way, as a mother, and as a wife. And now it’s going to be my turn.”
She has dedicated herself to the planet by donating hundreds of thousands of trees to the Amazon and improving the community’s water resources and availability. Due to her contribution, she was nominated as the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme. Not just that, she was also the executive producer of a Netflix environmental conservation documentary.
Having contributed much to her planet, she also launched a new initiative to fund seven organizations working to restore Brazil’s biomes on her 42nd birthday.
Gisele Bündchen Received What She Sowed!
The Victoria’s Secret supermodel back in 2004 spent 10 days living with an Indigenous tribe in the Xingu River region in the Amazon. She shared her experience stating that nature was affected even though the tribe was harmoniously living in accordance with it.
“In every major city, they’re putting toxins in rivers, and we have to think about what we’re doing, how we are jeopardizing the very ecosystem that provides us life,” she says. “We are all connected.”
As she understood the problem, on her 40th birthday, she decided to donate 40,000 new trees to the Amazon which in turn restored 16,000 acres of land. “That just shows you [that] in life, you reap what you sow, literally,” she stated.
Her sincere efforts toward protecting the planet are surfacing at a time when other celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Taylor Swift among many others were busy traveling in their private jets and producing high carbon emissions through their travel.
Back in July, reports surfaced that Midnights singer tops the list of 10 A-List celebrities who faced backlash about the carbon emissions produced by their private jets. As per the study, Swift’s private jet emitted more than 8,293.54 tonnes of carbon emissions in the last seven months alone.
