Truly such an AMAZING casting as Gorr. He was truly brilliant as the character and in a different world he could've been everything I wanted to see when he was adapted. The script just fucked him over.

Christian Bale Talks About His Marvel Collaboration Thor: Love And Thunder

During an interview with the famous media outlet Collider in 2022, Christian Bale spoke about his first Marvel association Thor: Love And Thunder. While talking about the surprise element of the project, he said-

“There’s an awful lot that I wish was in this film, which you can’t have a four-hour long film because there’s so much gold that’s on the cutting room floor, hilarious stuff, and creepy as hell stuff, but that was perhaps pushing it to a realm where maybe it wouldn’t have been able to be family-friendly, which we always wanted it to be.”

The American Hustle actor further explained-

“But Taika’s sensibility, the comedy, the tragedy, the ability to have the Taika-ness and the humor of that. But he’s got great sincerity as well. He’s a real artist. And so, man, it’s moving. That is the bloody surprising thing about this film. It’s a very moving film and then two seconds later, you’re laughing your ass off.”

Thor: Love And Thunder went on to collect  $760.9 million against a budget of $250 million. With an IMDb rating of 6.2 out of 10, Thor: Love And Thunder can be streamed on Prime Video.
