“It was brutal”: Elon Musk Makes a Confession About His Rocky Relationship With Amber Heard
Some details about Elon Musk have allegedly been revealed about his past romance with Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom star Amber Heard. In the recently released biography of the SpaceX founder titled Elon Musk, written by Walter Isaacson, there obviously is a chapter on Musk’s romantic relationships. Musk’s relationship with Heard, is easily the most notable due to both being high-profile people.
Reportedly, Musk and Heard met each other almost one year after the actress filed for divorce from Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp. The couple dated on and off for some time but their romance did not stand the test of time.
Elon Musk on Dating Amber Heard
The Los Angeles Times posted some insight from Isaacson’s book. As the author states, it was in early 2017. Going through her messy divorce with Depp, Heard “drew [Musk] into a dark vortex that lasted more than a year and produced a deep-seated pain that lingers to this day.”
The author also mentions that Musk’s loved ones were not pleased with his choice of a partner saying:
“His brother and friends hated her with a passion.”
The time span of the relationship has been dubbed a “hellacious” period in the Tesla CEO’s life. The author notes on the true nature of the relationship, stating that:
“It was brutal. Elon loves fire, and sometimes it burns him.”
Sounds like the fire named Amber Heard burned Elon Musk badly.
Amber Heard and Elon Musk’s Whirlwind Romance
The actress and the tech mogul were a couple long before they sparked dating rumors. The actress was quite fascinated by the work Musk was doing in space technology. Musk on the other hand was smitten with Heard from as early as 2013 when they both worked in the film Machete Kills.
Musk was drawn to Heard and doing his all to be introduced to her. They met properly for the first time when Heard visited SpaceX. They quickly became friends and started dating. It was unexpected and both their fans were surprised, but they got along well.
Their break up came just as unexpectedly.
Documenting the time when the former couple had heated arguments that led to a huge fight towards the end of their one-year romance, the biography reveals that their relationship wasn’t always lovey-dovey. It happened when the former lovers were in South America vacationing with Musk’s family in December 2017.
They didn’t break up immediately as the picture of the couple sharing a New Year’s kiss was making rounds. There were reports that they had gotten back together, only to be proven wrong.
The book discusses the effect their separation had on Musk. Turns out, being the richest man in the world does nothing for heartbreak.
