DC’s Blue Beetle was expected to bring back the good old days for the billion-dollar superhero franchise after the back-to-back failure of Zachary Levi’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam, and Ezra Miller’s The Flash.
As reported by the famous media platform, The Hollywood Reporter, James Gunn-led DC’s Blue Beetle could only make $25.4 million in domestic theatres within a week of its release. However, The Nun 2 has grossed comparatively more than Xolo Maridueña’s Blue Beetle within a few days of its theatrical release.

Michael Chaves On The Nun 2’s Post-Credits Scenes
During an interview with the prominent media outlet Slash Film, The Nun 2 director Micahel Chaves spoke about the horror drama and even mentioned the post-credits scene which directly indicates the development of the upcoming movie The Conjuring: Last Rite. The filmmaker said-
“I think that they’re still writing it. They’re still working on it. There’s definitely Conjuring: Last Rites coming. And in terms of the exorcism of Maurice, that’s always been a center, a cornerstone marker in the timeline, and I think it’s up to interpretation. I think there’s a lot of things that need to align, so it could go a couple different ways.”
While talking about the upcoming installment, Michael Chaves hinted towards a great grand finale that would include all the paranormal and demonic characters from The Conjuring Universe. Over the years, the Conjuverse has only expanded with great stories and the flagbearers of the horror drama franchise Ed and Lorraine Warren played by actor duo Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.
