The 55-year-old actress is quite excited to share more about her life in her new memoir and Netflix Documentary, Pamela, a Love Story. In an interview with The Times of London, she opened up about a person who she believed treated her with “complete and utter respect.”
It was none other than the late founder and editor-in-chief of Playboy magazine, Hugh Hefner.
The actress shared that featuring in Playboy magazine helped her getting prominence in the industry.
Opening about working in the magazine, she shared,
“I was painfully shy, and I hated that feeling. That’s why I did it. I just didn’t want that feeling anymore.”
However, she added,
“Doing that first photoshoot gave me this little kind of portal on what it felt like to be a sensual woman. My sexuality was mine. I took my power back.”
Not just Anderson, the late editor-in-chief has launched the careers of many celebrities who was well known for his magazine, the wild parties he used to hold in the luxurious mansions, and living a rich life.
A Brief Note on Pamela Anderson’s Marriages
Pamela Anderson is known for her high-profile relationships which were also one of the reasons behind her getting international fame in the early 1990s. She was married five times however all the marriages were unsuccessful.
Her first husband was Mötley Crüe drummer, Tommy Lee whom she married in 1995 after knowing him for only 96 hours. They share two children, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee. Their relationship was quite publicized due to the s*x tape that was stolen from their home and later on released on the Internet.
After leaving a tumultuous marriage with Lee, she married Kid Rock in 2006 however their relationship ended in a year. She then tied the knot with the poker player, Rick Salomon in 2007 however their marriage was annulled in 2008 citing fraud. They again tried to give their relationship a second chance by reuniting in 2013 however it didn’t last long and called it quits.
She also married producer Jon Peters in 2020 however called it quits claiming they never made their vows legal. She then tied the knot with her bodyguard, Dan Hayhurst at the end of 2020 however she also ended that marriage in a year.
Her Netflix documentary, Pamela, a love story, will release on January 31, 2023.
