Sheen’s downfall first started in 2011 when he was fired from the fan-favorite show of the time, Two and a Half men. According to sources, Sheen saw the peak of his professional career during his run in Two and a Half men. Since his departure, the American actor has been involved in a lot of controversies. He has even been accused of domestic violence and drug abuse on a number of occasions.
Charlie Sheen has not held back against his former co-star, Jon Cryer for not having his back throughout the whole drama in 2011. Sheen even called Cryer a traitor and a turncoat. However, in an interview from 2019, Jon Cryer revealed that he was also sad about Sheen’s departure from the show.

After cussing and calling his producer harsh words in 2011, Charlie Sheen was fired from Two and a Half men. Following his controversial departure, Sheen decided to further escalate the situation by calling out his former co-star, Jon Cryer. In an interview with E! News in 2011, Sheen blasted Cryer for not having his back in the whole firing fiasco. The Platoon actor said, “Like I said, you’re with me, or you’re with the trolls. Obviously [Jon Cryer is] with the trolls.”
Sheen further called Cryer a traitor and said, “Jon has not called me. He’s a turncoat, a traitor, a troll.” Jon Cryer even revealed in an interview in 2019 that he has not spoken to Sheen since his exit from the show.

Back in 2019, Jon Cryer opened up about Charlie Sheen’s controversial exit from Two and a Half men. Cryer said that it was very tough for him to see Sheen throw his life and career away like that. He said, “It was tough to watch a guy who I had seen when we started the show… Charlie had been sober for a while and was really in control of his life.” Cryer further added, “It was tough to see that go away. That was the hardest part of being involved in that process.”
Jon Cryer further said that it was always fun working with Charlie Sheen on the show. Although Sheen did make a half-hearted apology to Jon Cryer in 2011, their relationship has never been the same since Sheen was fired from the show.
